About Me

My Name is Dani Copeland I have always had a passion for crafting. I love old antiques and handmade items which cannot be store bought. I have dreamed of having my own shop where I could spend my days sewing, paintng, and creating. Sew Sweet has always been an adventure I dreamed of taking but never thought I could do. Until one day I met a stranger, we started talking and next thing I know I am telling him about my hope to one day open a business selling baby blankets, bows, and all sorts of baby items that have all been handcrafted. I told him how I dreamed of doing this "one day".  To which he said:

" Dani, if there is anything you do in your life you have to do this, you cannot let anything stand in the way of what you love to do. Waking up everyday doing what you love is a feeling I can't explain. It is the most fufilling experiance I have ever felt and trust me when I say you have to do this and you need to start now."

I will never forget that day and the fear those few words drove out of me, the excitement and courage he gave me to start the Sew Sweet Journey which is a journey I hope to continue!

Childhood

I grew up despising the fact that I was my mothers little bar bie doll. She made me cloths, bows, tutu's, and more. I dressed up everyday and always in something my mother had handmade with so much love just for me.  I fought it tooth and nail as I was a daddies girl. My one joy in life was getting as dirty as possible!

But hey who ever said dresses could not get dirty!

Once I became older I grew to realize no little girl at school or church ever had the same dress to dance around in with her daddy, the same warm blanket or teddy bear to cozy up with after a long day of playing outside, or the same princess gown to jump through mud puddles in.

The memories I have as a child all can be attached to the uniquely made things my mother sewed. Her passion for creation is now mine. That's why Sew Sweet was established.  So that mommies and daddies could give their little ones treasures as uniquely made as they are!
